Is there an age limit for receiving donor eggs?

At Fertility First, we know that infertility doesn’t discriminate and neither do we so we do not have an age restriction for accessing our donor egg program.

Oocyte donation is not only for women over 40 and there are many reasons why women require the use of donor eggs. Some women are born without ovaries or poorly functioning ovaries, some may have had their ovaries damaged by cancer treatment and others may need eggs due to menopause.

Menopause doesn’t just affect women in their 40’s and 50’s, it can also affect women anywhere between 20 to 30 years old, sometimes even younger. In fact, it is estimated that one in 1000 women will suffer from premature menopause.

Our Donor egg program is designed to help all women of all ages gain access to quality donor eggs, at an affordable cost without the need to travel overseas or join an extensive waiting list.
