How long does an embryo transfer take?

If you happen to be undergoing an embryo transfer, you might be under the impression that it takes a long time, but that’s not always the case.

In fact, an embryo transfer is very similar to having a pap test or an IUI fertility treatment, and usually takes anywhere between five to ten (5-10) minutes. It should be a relatively easy procedure with no anaesthetic or recovery time needed.
